- Curtis started his professional ‘career path’ in 1999 with a BBA degree from Simon Fraser University.
- As a result of a successful internship, Curtis was hired by Mark Anthony Group and helped launch Mikes Hard Lemonade.
- Was recruited by Labatt Breweries as a sales rep for Downtown and North Vancouver. Also worked as a brand manager assistant for the product line Labatt Genuine Draft.
- Then Silicon Valley became the center of the universe….. So Curtis packed his bags and moved to San Francisco where he worked as a marketing manager for the startup PersonalMD.com (would later become part of WebMD).
- When the resort real-estate bubble began to take off in 2002, Curtis transitioned back to Canada to work as a Regional Marketing and Project Manager for Playground (the sales and marketing arm for Intrawest). At Playground, he experienced a roller-coaster ride of rapid growth and then market turmoil. The sales and marketing innovation that Intrawest had to go through in order to stay leading-edge was remarkable.
- Recently, Curtis worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager with RG Properties, responsible for advertising and sponsorship at OfficePools.com (Canada’s leading fantasy hockey site with over 625,000 users)
- Curtis is also a business co-owner of a self-storage facility in the Okanagan and owns half of a rental revenue property.
- Moved back to Vancouver in August 2013 to attend Sauder School of Business with wife Carmen, Oceana (4) and Skyli (2).
