This blog was set up as part of ETEC 565; a course in UBC’s Masters in Educational Technology . However, as the MA has progressed, I have continued adding material and reflections, and decided to add a section with material from my previous MA in Applied Linguistics as I feel it complements my present work.
Given that I have learned to use different technological tools on the way, the reader will no doubt come across all sorts of weird looking pages. However, I have not wanted to correct these original mistakes as I feel they are important for reflecting on my learning process. Learning is done by risk taking and making errors, and looking back on one’s process is key. Hence, I apologize to all the experts, and encourage those new to technology to not give up. Just click away! Sooner or later you’ll get it right!
