Throughout the process of ENG301, each unit looked at various writing practices in regards to professional and technical writing.
Below are some examples of assignments from unit 1-3 and a peer review from unit 2.
Unit 1
The assignment was to write a parenthetical definition, a sentence definition, and an expanded definition of a chosen concept in relation to my field. The objective of the assignment was to appreciate the importance and role of definitions in technical writing understand how audience indicate the need for definition.
Unit 2
The assignment was to write a formal report proposal. The formal report proposal is intended to investigate, analyze, and recommend action on a problem in a public setting such as, a workplace, a volunteer or community organization, in which I have recently been a part of. I chose to partake on food wastage reduction in the student residence that I’m currently living in.

Unit 3
A complaint letter based on a real life experience involving an error on a bill, rude service, a mistake in delivery, or poor quality of a product. I chose to write about an inadequate delivery service I have experienced through the use of an online cosmetic shop, Frank Body Scrubs. The purpose of this assignment is to write using YOU-attitude and to persuade the audience to respond or act in a certain way or to provide information.
