CATE Teacher Education Researcher Lifetime Achievement Award
Good Afternoon CATE Membership
In 2012 CATE created an award to publicly recognize and reward the accomplishments of scholars who have contributed substantively to teacher education in Canada over their careers; people whose research has been focused on teacher education and who is recognized for this work nationally and internationally. This award is called the “CATE Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions to Research in Teacher Education”.
I have attached a document detailing the award, who is eligible, and what is involved in order to nominate someone for this award. This award includes the recognition of CATE during their AGM at CSSE, as well as a lifetime CSSE membership. 2014 CATE Award for Contributions to Research in Teacher Education
If you are interested in nominating someone for this award, please consult the details in the attached document and return the application package to Mark Hirschkorn, CATE President by March 31st, 2014.
