We continue to learn the next unit : Plant. In this unit, students will learn/review some foundation characters related to plants and some compound characters with these foundation characters. The details are below:
Pictures and evolvement of foundation characters help them understand the origin of characters and make it easier to memorize them 图画和汉字演进帮助理解记忆
Short paragraph and chants help them familiarize themselves with commonly-used words and sentences 歌谣短文帮助熟悉相关常用词和句子
Compare with similar characters to avoid mistakes. 分析同（近）音字和形近字避免错误
Compound characters derived from foundation characters expand the students’ vocabulary 合体字扩充词汇
2. How to review at home
Students are encouraged to bring their Chinese story duotang back home every Friday. It would be helpful if you could remind them to practice reading aloud. Please remember to bring the duotang back next Monday.
