I have been invited to attend the Hypothes.is Reputation Workshop. Hypothes.is is an initiative started by Dan Whaley that aim to provide an open collaborative annotation platform for the entire web. The intuition is that you should be able to annotate any type of content, anywhere, pretty much as you do when reading some printed media, and enable collaboration too.
This has a lot to do with my thesis. In particular, on assessing the value of user contribution in information-sharing peer production systems — a topic I have been investigation in the past years. I am looking forward to the workshop.
