Subject: Formal Report Progress Report
As required, the progress report for the formal proposal is uploaded. Please find my progress report below on Purchasing Wheelchair Attachable Shopping Carts at DaRunFa grocery store at Shang Hai.
Audience: This formal report is targeted at the managing team of DaRunFa grocery store at Shang Hai. This project will be containing recommendations on how to improve handicapped customers’ experience, and therefore, the managing team (Mr. Huang, Mr. Bao, and Ms. Wu) will be the main audience of this report.
Purpose:
This report will offer a purchase plan that outlines the financial cost of achieving this goal, such as the price of wheelchair attachable shopping carts and the amount of the carts needed.
Significant of report
The significance of this report is that it finds a way to improve handicapped customers experience, and protect their privacy when shopping, something most customers may take for granted.
Research plan :
- Identifying the problem
- Identifying current shopping environment for handicapped customers (this data will be retrieved from the survey), knowing their worries and concerns
2. Primary research:
- Survey (please see the attached document)
3. Secondary research
- Academic articles that document handicapped customers’ psychological stress when shopping with staff.
Writing schedule :
November 15th. Complete most of the secondary research (at least 3-5 articles )
November 18th. Begin collecting data from the survey
November 20th. Begin organizing data from primary research and match that with secondary research
November 20th-30th. Create a draft
December 1st. Post the draft on the team forum
December 10th. Submit peer review of team member’s draft
December 12th-16th. Revision, revision, revision
December 17th. Submit the final draft.
