Purpose and Significance of Report
The purpose of this report is to provide recommendations for seizing potential financial and reputational opportunities by using more sustainable and ethical source ingredients in products made by Organika Health Products Inc.
Intended Audience
Organika Health Products Inc. CEO Aaron Chin, and COO Jordan Chin.
Report Objectives
The objectives of this report are:
- To determine the extent of the consumer market that values sustainability
- To confirm feasibility of switching from current ingredient sources to more sustainable ingredient sources
- To provide recommendations on capturing this growing market effectively with minimal expenditure
Methods:
Primary data collection via an online survey targeted to consumers. Attached is the link to the survey questions being used to gather data for this report:

Research Plan
In order to analyze feasibility and provide effective recommendations, I plan to:
- Coordinate with Organika’s Purchasing department to determine ingredient cost differences
- Observe consumer buying habits at health food stores
- Identify the proportion of consumers that value sustainability through surveying and research articles
- Identify the breaking point price that deters consumers to forgo the sustainable product
- Research popular health supplement brands on their advertising
- Compile cost analysis on switching suppliers to more sustainable sources
- Data analysis on surveys
- Produce visuals based on survey data
