Subject: Summary of Formal Report Proposal for Improving Seoul Public Bike App for Foreigners
According to the requirements of the Lesson 2.1 assignment, I have posted my formal report proposal for improving the Seoul Public Bike app for foreigners on my team forum (Jessica’s Team). My intended audience is the Public Bicycle Team, which is under the Bicycle Policy Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

My research proposal contains the following:
- Introduction of Topic – Improving the Seoul Public Bike app for foreigners
- Statement of Problem – Inconvenience of using the Seoul Public Bike app as a non-Korean speaker
- Proposed Solution – Implementing a language option in English and payment system that requires less or no steps for verification
- Scope of Questions – Current user experience, difficulty of adding a language option, need of a verification system, payment systems
- Forms of Primary and Secondary Sources – Interviews, public data, journal articles, case studies
- My qualifications – Experience as a student/intern reporter, user of the rental bike system
- Conclusion – Summarizes the need for improving the experience for foreigners using the app and possible outcomes of the research
