There are a number of ways you can put your e-portfolio online, ranging from creating your own website, to hosting your e-portfolio on a Content Management System (CMS) or a Learning Management System (LMS). If you work at an institution which uses an LMS, check with the technical department to see if you can host your e-portfolio site on it. Some LMSs, such as Canvas, have built in e-portfolio tools.

Some of these LMS’s have built in e-portfolio building tools. You can also use a “course” space in the LMS to host your e-portfolio. Note, that by using your institution’s LMS, you may not be able to set the permissions to allow your portfolio to be open to the public – password access may be a requirement.
