After a year of toil and sweat (very literally, a lot of it), the Cold Tube pavilion held its first and only Open House event at its location on the grounds of United World College South East Asia’s campus in Singapore. The Cold Tube has been one of the world’s first demonstrators of a novel outdoor radiant cooling technology that can operate in hot and humid environments without providing condensation. The Cold Tube was a joint collaboration between the ETA Lab, Princeton University’s CHAOS Lab, The UC Berkeley Centre for Built Environment, and the Singapore-ETH Centre Future Cities Laboratory. Funding was provided by the Singapore National Research Foundation. See more information here: The ColdTube and through our Publications.
