Turnitin (www.turnitin.com) is an online tool that assists educators in detecting plagiarism in student papers. It leverages a large database of written material to assess for similarity. The disruptive effect of generative AI writing tools further highlights the importance of tools/strategies that foster a culture of originality and integrity in the learning environment.
