Hello Everyone!!

Hello all,

My name is Todd Powell, and I am coming at you from the VERY beautiful city of Victoria, B.C. in Canada.  My sincerest apologies for the VERY late intro, but I have been dealing with a very unfortunate situation at my school with one of my students.

I have the wonderful honour of being a teaching, and the unfortunate (sarcasm) honour of teaching in a middle school, which are grades 7-9.  I teach English, Social Studies, Media Tech and Leadership.  I also look after the computer lab and run the student-lead new station in our school.

I am by no means a programmer, but I’d say that I am very tech-savvy, and see the remarkable benefits to the use of technology to aid in education.  I also have experience with Distance Learning and on-line teaching, so I recognize alternate educational platforms and can see how closely related to each other education and business are.
