Bring Your Own Device – There are more and more schools that allow, even encourage, the use of personal devices on the school network. Students, teacher and administrators can bring their personal laptops, tablets, smartphones and even gaming devices like the PSP or NDS to use on the network.

Why this new trend? Where does it come from? Why encourage such ‘distractions’ in the classroom and in learning? How can it possibly be managed from an adminsitrative perspective? What is the impact on the existing infrastructure? What are other schools and organizations doing elsewhere with BYOD initiatives? These are the kinds of questions our Emerging Market Team are exploring for Week 10!

We invite you to join us in studying these themes by clicking HERE to access our OER!

Enjoy!

Your Week 10 Emerging Market Team,
