My name is Yi Chen. I am a Ph.D. candidate in curriculum studies at Western University. This is my 5th class in MET. I am really interested in the themes of how technology will reform our understanding of education. All the courses so far have been so thought-provoking. They also help me with my dissertation as well. Gamification and game-enhanced learning is my primary focus right now. The connection that I can make between mobile education and game is that how and what players can learn from playing a mixed-reality mobile game like Pokemon Go? And I would like to explore this topic in this course.
I used to be a gamer when I was a teen, but now I plan to make my two little sons future-gamer if my wife allows me.
