Good Morning everyone!
My name is Sally Bourque and this is my 10th (and final) course in the MET program! 😀
I currently work fulltime as an instructional designer for an e-campus in Nova Scotia and have been working in the EdTech space for about 8 years. My career goals and interests have morphed significantly throughout the past decade, and for the last 6 years (I know!) the MET program has certainly played a role in shaping my thoughts, ambitions and goals. For someone who started in an ‘Arts’ program, and sometimes still regrets not pursuing a ‘Fine Arts’ degree, it’s been a revelation to become “the tech person” at work – still somewhat unbelievable from my perspective.
I’m really looking forward to this course. (Saved the best for last, eh! :p) In my experience to date, mobile learning has been more of an “add on” function and I want to understand and explore how it could be more, and how to integrate it seamlessly into learning experiences.
In my spare time, I spend a lot of time walking my 2-year (aggressively friendly) dog Luna. Thanks to her, we have many neighborhood “friends”. I’m also a sporadic DIY crafter and painter and currently occupied house-shopping in the wildest market ever!
Looking forward to meeting and learning with you all this semester! 🙂
Hi Sally. Congrats on finishing the adventure. It must feel good to complete the puzzle at last.
See you in class
Hi Sally! Luna is so cute! Congrats on your 10th course well done!
Nice to e-meet you Sally. Wow, you are nearing the finish line of this MET program. Great work.
Once thing crossed my mind as I was reading your post, and I would appreciate your feedback on it. What was the most interesting/informative MET course for you, and why?
Look forward to working with you and learning from you guys,
Saeid
