Hello everyone,
Pleased to e-meet you.
My name is Eduardo Rebagliati and I live in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is my 9th MET course.
I work (and live) at UBC in the Educational Technology Support (ETS) department as a learning technology specialist, a position I started about a month and a half ago. Before that, I worked as a teacher at a university in Lima, Peru, for 9 years, teaching music production courses. Simultaneously, I worked as a music and multimedia producer in the advertising industry – career paths that came from my undergrad studies (fine arts) at York University in Toronto.
In my free time, I like to exercise, read/write, and practice performance arts (mostly singing and free-style dancing) . And, oh yes, use my mobile to watch videos and surf the net! So it will be interesting to think more deeply about the mobile experience in this course. I also think the course format will add freshness to the learning experience.
Looking forward to learning together.
Best,
Eduardo
Here is a recent picture of me enjoying a sunny day at UBC.
Nice to e-meet you as well Eduardo. I too am excited about the format of the course which is new to me as well. I am in my 8th course with the MET program. Congratulations on your new job.
Thank you, Jennifer! Looking forward to learning together.
Hi Eduardo!
I believe we have been in a course together earlier in the program, however, I can’t seem to think which one! (524? 540? 510?). How are you liking Vancouver so far?
Hello, Megan. Nice to see you here! I believe it was 524, but we possibly 540 as well. I’m loving Vancouver 😀 was delighted to see the cherry blossoms which were all around the area where I live. How is MET program going so far for you? I think that 524 was your first course, right?
Ohh! Hello Eduardo!
Congratulations on coming close to the end of your race at MET!
Thank you, Rika! Looking forward to learning together. I have relatives who live in Oakville, it is a beautiful place!
