Multiliteracies Delineated

To explore the idea of digital literacy, it is important to start with an understanding of multiliteracies.  In 1996, with the onset of new technologies and the Internet, the New London Group (NLG), a selection of 10 academics, met to revise and expand the definition of literacy based on our changing technological world.  Below is my visual and oral summary of the New London Group’s article, A Pedagogy of Multiliteracies: Designing Social Futures which explores the viewpoints of the authors within the article.
