Hi everyone,
For my multimedia project, I decided to use a program which I came across when, just out of curiosity, I googled “multimedia”. I created a scroll-down style website using Adobe Spark which I ended up doing completely through the app on my iPad. I had never heard of this program but it was very simple to use and I didn’t really come across much frustration while using it.
I was inspired by the section of Module 4 which focused on Bolter’s “Breakout of the Visual” and Kress’ ideas on Multimodality. I played around a lot with a photo editing app called BeFunky and changed a lot of my personal photos, some that I used in my video documentary project, and included those on this website project.
Hope you like it! Like the other projects, it was an interesting experience for me and I enjoyed playing around with some new apps.

Hi, Marcia!
When I popped over to your project, the first image literally made me say, “Wow”! What a great attention grabber.
I appreciated how you used the medium of advertising to explain how images without text, or without explanation of purpose can be misleading and confusing. A picture may say a thousand words, but each of those words might paint a different picture for someone else.
And, as a fellow ECE, I share your conviction that our children need a place to grow and experience, to be guided and to explore. Was that your cherub in the painting photo?
