Training Managers to Conduct Employment Management Interviews

Canadian Properties Inc. is a medium sized organization that manages 30 mall/retail facilities throughout the GTA area. The organization has approximately 1,200 employees (170 in head office, the remainder at the properties). The performance evaluation program currently in place has been revamped into a new competencies based approach. This approach requires two formal meetings between the employee and their supervisor: one where they meet to discuss the learning objectives the employee has identified for the upcoming fiscal year, and one where they review the progress relating to their objectives they have made over the year. In the plan to launch this new program the organization has identified that training is required for the managers to help them provide the coaching needed. Please create a one-day training program for all managers to prepare them for this role. The plan should include at least one short (2 minute) video prepared by the group.
