It seems that the tradition of the society asks woman to contribute more to her family, giving up her job to become a housewife, sacrificing all her time to take care of the whole family. However, more and more outstanding businesswomen stand out, telling the probability of becoming a successful female entrepreneur. According to Ms Valdez’s story, the process will not be all plain sailing. She meet the challenges arising from innovation and franchise, and also she might have to deal with the problem about how to achieve a balance between her business and family. Because of her effort and perseverance, she survived.

It might be true that operating a business for women is tough, however, as Amielle said in class, we should always maintain the ability to think clearly and rationally in any situation.
