There are five book-length projects I’d really like to get out before 2030.
One is an auto-theory book Aloof: On Seeing Less than you Should.
Another is a co-authored monograph with Aniruddha Dutta called Translating Transgender (Routledge) based on our co-edited double issue of Transgender Studies Quarterly.
A third is a book of essays called To Be Born, based admiringly on Joan Didion’s Slouching Toward Bethlehem.
A fourth is a novel called Leave. Or if I can’t do that, a at least a book of poems called If You Happen to be Free, or The Splits. I can’t decide.
The fifth is another, unidentified literary translation.
