On the last day of August, I decided to go to Richmond with my friends.
There were no more days for us so we couldn’t hasitate anymore as it is over from September
Since my Japanese room mate recommended me to go there as saying it is one of the most famous events held in summer in Vancouver and there are a lot of Asian food, I have been almost dying…for FOOD!
After getting out of the sky train on Bridgeport station and walking a little along the road, we finally got there!!!! XD
As my room mate told me, there have already been a long line of people waiting for the entrance.
One of the funniest thing I felt was that I expected that I will get a ticket for the entrance, but the gate workers only stamped on the back of my hand… It was like being a pig after getting the guarantine…
Anyway, I could see and enjoy a lot of different Asian food there and some shopping, too.
Most of the food were from China, so their tastes were really fresh and exotic to me. I really enjoyed eating them.
I also saw only one booth that treats KOREAN food like Ttokbokki or Japchae. It was really good to see a lot of foreign people enjoying the different tastes from other countries.
If I had another booth for Korean food, I would choose to cook for Janchi noodle(=Party noodle. Korean people used to cook this noodle only for special days like someone’s birthday or wedding. Nowadays it is still loved every Koreans anytime. It is really simple to cook and also not spicy at all.) or Kimbap(rice role containing a lot of different vegetables. also similar to Californian role or sushi. very easy to eat and really delicious!) because I really want to eat them right now….kkkm. But it is not kidding that every Koreans love those food. They are the most popular food for Korean people but not known to foreign people yet. I hope to introduce them to people if I can make any foreign friends someday 🙂
Anyway, I had a really HAPPY day there 🙂
