Characteristics: Attractive fern with bold spore cases on the underside. Erythrosora refers to the red spore cases on the back of the fronds. Yellow on top, darker green in the shade, with copper new growth.

Growing conditions: Shade, moist soil. Easily grown in Vancouver. Tough, widely available, easy. Occupies the ground layer and protects soil.
