Characteristics: Bright leaves lighten up shaded area in a garden. Leaf blades have green outline with a more chartreuse middle. Bowles was an English gardener and garden writer. Generally, with his name it’s an excellent garden plant.
Growing conditions: Requires some shade. Easy to work with sedges in this climate- tough plants. Can plant in poor drainage or places where soil is dry in summer.
Limitations: Not many – tough plant!
