Assessment Tasks & Activities
|Students (in groups of 2-3) will give a presentation on an innovative approach influenced by technology or artistic experimentation focused around breaking down a scene.

|There will be two quizzes worth 7.5% each done in-class
|3||DRAFT PAPER & PEER REVIEW||15%||Week 10|
|Each student will peer review draft papers from two other students in an exchange using the peer feedback rubric.
|4||FINAL PAPER||35%||Week 13|
|Write a final paper on innovation in filmmaking focused on a particular film/filmmaker or technology. Emphasis will be on interpretation of the influence of this topic on the history of film production, in relation to the broader historical context. (approx. 6-8 pages, double spaced)

|The participation grade ranges from class participation in lectures, exercises, assignments and constructive feedback.
You will need to participate in online discussion board & video response topics at least 4 times over the term.
