Staff networking idea for over the summer?
The last Hot Lunch before summer is on Wednesday, May 28th (we resume again in September, last Wednesday of the month!) but that doesn’t mean we can’t still connect in some way.
We are fortunate to work one of the most beautiful campuses that I have been on. Sometimes I get busy and cloistered and forget to take time to smell the flowers. I went for a walk yesterday and ….wow, Hydrangeas, Wisteria, and ….lots of flowers that I don’t know the name of are out and the grounds are looking and smelling beautiful. Maybe those gardening magicians who keep the grounds looking so spectacular will join us at an upcoming Hot Lunch!
If you have an idea on a informal staff networking event over the summer , let us know. There are no shortage of beautiful places on campus (i.e., the beach, the courtyard at St. John’s College) to do something like brown bag lunch or have coffee.

What a great opportunity Hot Lunch has been to spend time with colleagues from across campus. Let’s plan a Hot Lunch BYOB(ag Lunch) picnic over the summer.
