What oils my Gears – Sustainable Marketing

So my gears are particularly oily this week, why? Well because they are not clogged with millions of tons of CO2 getting released into the atmosphere. They are clogged slightly less, with thanks to a certain company called “Kiwano Marketing”.

Kiwano is known for only doing marketing projects for companies that hold certain sustainability, and naturally the marketing projects themselves employs green tactics, so no mass-production of fliers. 🙂

there is also a particular blog I would like to draw your attention to, they are a big deal, expanding to fortune 500 companies.

What Oil’s My Gears – Cloud Marketing

My gears are particularity oily this week, want to know what oiled my gears? Well Cloud computing did. And considering this is a marketing blog – Cloud Marketing. The idea behind Cloud computing is that rather than one person posting some information on the web, several people COLLABORATE on a single project/article/post.  A good example is Wikipedia, where a single one page could be created by 20 writers, 15 editors and proofread by 5 professionals.

Now think about this, apply “Cloud” idea to marketing. Your own consumers could contribute to your marketing effort, contribute their ideas, and solve issues. Naturally there are issues with this collaboration (both the good and the bad come out)…
