ICSNL 61

We are very pleased to announce that the 61st International Conference on Salish and Neighbouring Languages (ICSNL 61) will be hosted by Lil̓wat Nation (in Mount Currie). The conference will be July 16-18, 2026. We look forward to seeing you there!

Registration (collected in-person):

  • $40 for General (Academic Faculty and Others)
  • $20 for Students and Community (Students/Learners, Teachers, and Community Members)
  • Free for Elders

(All registration fees will go directly to conference costs/the host community. If the registration cost is prohibitive, there is a “pay what you can” option.) 

Additional Things to Know:

  • Coffee will be provided each day.
  • Lunch is provided on the 16th and 17th!
  • The evening event on the 17th will be a community-style potluck. We encourage you to bring/pick up some kind of food to share, if you are able!
