Writes Blue, Dries Black
A student led publication to grow community and create space for your voice.

What Inkwell is All About
Welcome to the online version of Inkwell’s multi-media magazine! Are you a creative student at the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus? Have you found it hard or daunting to get published? Looking for other like-minded creatives to collaborate with?
Our Mission
Our mission is to uplift student artists, and their work, at UBCO. We hope that this publication can exist as an ever-changing capstone for students in Creative Studies to look back at what they got to be a part of. Inkwell is an ever-deepening exploration of the people and the work that has moved the UBCO community forward.
Our Motivation
For some, submitting to us might just be an extra line on your CV. For others, Inkwell will serve as an integral part of your experience on and off campus. You get to decide what you make of this community resource, but regardless, Inkwell hopes to help make your visions become a reality.
Resource + Access
We hope to be able to bridge the gap between the online and physical spaces in which our student body is able to engage with each other’s work. As third spaces diminish all across North America, Inkwell hopes to be at the forefront of reimagining how we cultivate community.
Where to Connect
Inkwell works in collaboration with UBCO’s Creative Writing Course Union to bring students together both online and in person.
