Welcome to La Cultura Italiana a Vancouver blog, that showcases the Experiential and Community-Engaged Learning projects of the Italian program. From here, you can enjoy the many contributions provided by the students who have participated in these projects. These projects have the same general structure where the partner institution has provided a “service’ in exchange for an “experience”. The “service” can be participating in an event that the community partner is hosting, such as the Parole Libere contest, or providing the partner with a product such as an article or video. In exchange for these “services”, the students are provided an experience that develops cultural knowledge and communicative skills in a practical and fun way.
