It didn’t take me long to be completely unsatisfied with the overall look and feel of my first ‘Theme’ chosen for this site. I feel that a blog should represent the person speaking, the person’s personality or persona. Much like that of the eyes being a window into the soul, so too should the blog be a window. That being said i’m not sure exactly what my blog seems to say about me. Simple, clean, organized…control freak?
I am trying my best to throw caution to the wind, or throw it out the window as it were, and really take risks with the ‘blog’ portion of this site. I am very aware that a fraction of a fraction of a percentage of people will actually take the time to read this, if any, so why not treat it as a way to vent, think, project, and otherwise stir the pot. With all the blogs ‘out there’, since whenever blogs were created in the first place, mine must be like that of a star in the universe of shimmering and endless galaxies made up of billions upon billions of other stars…all spreading their light upon the world.
A day in and i’m already feeling quite insignificant.
1. love the theme?which one is it?
2. I?m pleased you?re embracing the opportunity presented here: blast around, try things, experiment, explore.
3. Carry on 🙂
The theme is called ‘Suits’. I’m still not sure about it though. Thanks for the encouragement!
Have fun, Kent! 🙂
Thanks Nicola, you too
Hi Kent,
I like that you’re using your blog to map your experience! I am hoping to do the same and think that its a great place to explore your experiences and thoughts on a topic. PS. you can download a browser add-on like Feedly (Google Chrome) or Bamboo (Firefox) to add everyone’s feed. It’ll keep you updated on everyone’s posts so we can stay connected in the vast universe of the blogosphere. 🙂
Ps. your post is a bit poetic, which is awesome!
Thanks Bobbi for the advice, will look for Feedly on the weekend!
Kent
