Hello world!

Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine and I’m currently a double major in Political Science and Sociology.

To be honest, one of my biggest expectations for this course is that it’s going to be challenging for me. I’m not naturally a huge reader, and I know this class is going to involve a lot of reading. But I’m actually looking forward to that challenge since I’m hoping to go to law school in the future, and I know that reading, analyzing, and understanding dense material is basically essential for that path. So I’m treating this course as really good practice for what’s ahead.

Hi Jasmine! I definitely resonate with you and also feel that the readings will be a challenge. I’m also majoring in poli sci and I believe those readings and literature readings are quite different so I’m excited and nervous to try something new.

Hi Jasmine, welcome to RMST 202!

A personal challenge it’s always welcome so that’s interesting!

Don’t forget to comment a little about the topic of the first two classes and make two comments on your classmates’ blogs.

See you on Monday with Proust,

Best

Julián.

Hi Jasmine! Honestly, same. I’m hoping this class will help tune my reading skills in preparation for the bigger readings I will have in the future and maybe turn into a hobby for me. Hope the same for you as well!!
