As part of my EDUC 451 Inquiry Seminar course, I did an inquiry project and shared my findings in a blog (click here).

Through this blog, I have shared my research and thoughts on a topic that I find fascinating, complex and controversial: error correction in French Immersion.

I asked the question: How can French Immersion teachers effectively correct students’ common language errors?

I completed this research project before my extended practicum, and I was able to apply my findings to my practice when I was in the classroom this spring. This is a topic I find very interesting and pertinent as a French Immersion teacher, and I will continue to do research on the topic throughout my career.
