As I was looking for inspirations for my marketing blog assignment on Brandchannel website, Jaguar’s new F-type comes to my mind. The British automaker announced at the New York Auto Show that it will bring an all-new sports car to production which is the F-type. He added. “The core appeal of Jaguar’s cars is their sporting heart, and that heart will beat stronger than ever before in the F-TYPE.
I am also a car crazyer, and i watch all kinds of car test TV programs unless i am pretty busy. From the external appearance, the new F-type looks just like a Aston Martin DBS. If nobody reminds me, i just think, oh, Aston Matin promotes a new model! Thus, i don’t agree with the designer, there are so many choices, why makes it become the brother of DBS?
From the director’s words, F-type will be definited as a sport car, the engine will be the strongest than any before. What is more, it will be a strict-two seaters couple car. Oh, what the GTR will think about? They maybe will buy a F-type, then making a race test between GTR and F-type, i am afraid the F-type will disappeared behind the GTR just after few minutes. Personally, i don’t think speed and racing can be Jaguar’s characteristics. As the price of the Jaguar is pretty expense, Jaguar’s same level competitors are like GTR, Ferrari, and Aston Martin. They are all high performance cars. Say some realistic, instead of putting the attention to the engine, Jaguar are supposed to make more efforts on improving the internal. Luxury should be the direction of the development, and becomes the advantage of the brand.
