For those that haven’t heard, Amazon has put a how-to guide to pedophilia for sale on it’s website and is not taking it down. The mere fact that they’re putting a book like that on their website is disgusting, but the results of the backlash are even worse. Prior to this story breaking, the book had sold but one copy. When TechCrunch wrote about this story earlier today, the book was 158,221st on best-selling Kindle e-books. As of the writing of the article I found, it had jumped to 146th amongst all paid Kindle e-books. That’s over a 100,000% jump in less than a day. Excuse me while I go throw up.

This is wrong for so many reasons and I just don’t understand what Amazon was thinking on this one. I’m curious to see how Amazon’s stock performs tomorrow after closing higher than it’s open today.
