Windows Phone 7 – Finally Released
So back in March of this year there were a few posts floating around lauding the benefits of the Windows Phone 7. The apparent iPhone killer…right.
In today’s news: Android phones. Nonetheless, here are some thoughts on the Windows Phone 7.
The phone is now prepped and ready to go on the shelves in North America as of today. What’s interesting is how excited some people were about its release eight months ago, and how things have changed. Expectations for good quality apps were high, yet the phone is being released with a paltry 1,000 apps available (compared to 100,000 and 300,000 for Android and Apple respectively).
The large screen was also, at the time, a major feature, but Android phones, the iPad, and countless other products have now made the screen seem somewhat dated.
