If an employee sees and understands the vision and the goal of the company then they will work harder to reach those goals and try to be part of them. Being a part of the company, they can identify with the company and have dreams and hopes, which can motivate them to improve.  This would also reduce absenteeism and turnovers by making employees want to come to work.
