Does any Nissan 350Z owner wish to Drive this instead???
by Kerim’s Marketing Blog ~ November 8th, 2010. Filed under: Uncategorized.I was reading Derek Li’s blog about his creativity post and it reminded me about the ad that I was watching with my brother in my home country (it is Kazakhstan by the way). It is and it was hard to catch my attention, but I was really amazed watching this advertisement of Shell company. It was really wise and creative to make such advertisement like this.
The ad is about the Transparent Nissan 350Z. What I realized at first that it was just a bigger copy of the Nissan 350Z toy car. However is an almost working clone of it’s real-life counterpart, complete with semi-functional engine. Entire car was made from the glass. The purpose of this ad is to show how the Shell Helix Ultra really works in the cars. To show it the fabricators that built the car also created a double-the-normal-size, transparent, standalone engine so you can see in detail how the oil works.
The first 30 seconds of the video is the actual advertisement of the Shell Helix Ultra, but the rest is about how these Nissan 350Z transparent car was made. At the end the advertisement there is a capture that says: “Performance you can see”. It really means that, because the transparent engine shows how the oil perform in it, which portraying the underlying message that Shell Helix Ultra continually cleans and protects your engine.

Thanks for your attention. 🙂
