Latin-American could be understood as the multidimensionality created by a variety of complex societies that could be seen or not as failure.  These nations of great divergence ensure the existence of elitism and oligarchies which have been historically opposed by the mases. During centuries literature has been a mean to harshly critique and present new political views. The dream of a more ideal society has been enough to cause revolutionary currents that have not seen its end. However, it also appears to be that even though the history is cyclical there is a better understanding of social and political issues that have been ignored in the past. Moreover, because of corruption and the lack of socioeconomic mobilization it has been easy to normalize corruption and anocracy, still there is hope after the continent had witness how an international system of corruption is been taken apart by the judicial power of Brazil.  Another phenomenon that could be interpreted as change is the immigration of the people of Venezuela to neighbour countries in the region who are facilitating their stay by constitutional means in order to oppose to dictatorship and close market.
