Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a fourth year Psychology major.  I am taking GRSJ 300 out of personal interest and as an elective.  This blog will be home to two major assignments: Culture Jam and Video Mashup.

Culture Jams and Video Mashups aim to expose underlying or contradictory messages we may otherwise stay blind to, due to factors such as societal norms.  An image or video is “tweaked” to appear similar at first glance, but works to expose deeper ramifications.
