HARVEY T. STROSBERG ESSAY PRIZE

Value: $10,000

Irwin Law Inc., publisher of The Canadian Class Action Review, is pleased to announce the Harvey T. Strosberg Essay Prize for the best student essay on Class Actions.

Deadline: March 1, 2008

Eligibility: All Canadian university students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs are eligible to submit an essay on any aspect of class actions including the law, accounting, computer science, management, public relations and financing issues, among others.

The $10,000 prize will be awarded annually. Essays must be submitted by March of each year. The winner will be announced in May and the winning paper will be published in the July issue of The Canadian Class Action Review. By submitting a paper to this competition, the author consents to publication in the CCAR in print and/or electronic form.

Please note: All essay submissions must be typed and between eight thousand and fifteen thousand words. Both an electronic and print version of each submission are required.

The Prize Board is composed of a panel of distinguished lawyers and judges.
