You are the woman BCcampus needs to hire to solve their LMS conundrum. When we were working on the project, your in-it-for-the-long-haul came through in your comments and ideas!
I also think you make a very sound case for “where are the people?” Too often we are too busy “doing” school to remember each other. I know I’ve referred to this document before, but the First People’s Principles of Learning notes that “Learning involves patience and time” (FNESC, 2015). I think those words also substantiate what you wrote.
