Methodology

 

 

 

 

This study is conducted at Langley Farm Market in Lansdowne Mall, Suite 640-5300 No. 3 Rd  Richmond, BC. Data on the number of apple purchase are collected between 4-6pm on Friday, Mar.13th, and 3-6 pm on Saturday, Mar.14th. The time and date of the experiment are deliberately chosen due to time constraint.

Two investigators are being assigned for data collection. One investigator records the number of consumers buying local apples (including all varieties), and the other records the number of consumers buying imported apples (including all varieties). Each data set is recorded at a 30min interval. A total of  ten data sets are collected for analysis.

The results are examined both quantitatively and qualitatively and at different levels.Factors affecting the results are being addressed in the data analysis and discussion.
