Spring has arrived and with more than a dozen research projects being conducted on site this summer, we are looking forward to an exciting season. UBC Farm research projects represent unique opportunities for students to gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences in multiple areas of food sustainability. Local Food Marketing
The growing popularity of farmer’s markets in Vancouver is undeniable. But what makes a farmer’s market succesfful? Research the social, ecological, and economic aspects of local food marketing AND gain direct, hands-on experience in the management of a farmer’s market management, the creation of new promotional material, exploration of new marketing avenues while learning about organic agriculture.
