The Kitsilano Neighbourhood House and Society Promoting Environmental Conservation (SPEC) are collaborating again this summer to offer the Westside Community Food Market. A stretch of sidewalk will be transformed into a community food market every Thursday from 3-7pm, starting July 3rd and running until Sept 25th.
Volunteers are needed to help run an effective local market! Meet local farmers and food processors and bridge the gap between consumer and producer.
Tasks include: door-to-door promotion, email and social media promotion, signage, greeting and more!
