The Cerebral Palsy Association of BC is starting a Community Kitchen and they are looking for a few volunteers to help us launch this program! Volunteers will help with the organization, planning and operation of this Kitchen. This is a great opportunity for students to put their knowledge of food security and community health to use and gain hands on experience working in the community.
The Community Kitchen is going to be at the First Baptist Church between 10am-2pm on the fourth Monday of every month. The first one will be held on September 29th. They are looking for volunteers who are available for 5-8 hours of work per month (Must be available Monday daytime when the kitchen is open). If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Madi Kennedy at 604-408-9484 or admin@bccerebralpalsy.com.
