LFS|US is hosting its first-ever Feeding 9 Billion Challenge on October 17th and 18th! This competition gives students 18 hours to come up with creative new projects!
There will be cash prizes for winners, exciting door prizes plus the opportunity to network with other students and experts in the field of sustainable food systems and social entrepreneurship. The Centre for Sustainable Food Systems and the UBC Farm will serve as a “living laboratory” for students to test out their environmentally, economically and socially sustainable solutions to food systems issues. EVERYONE is welcome! Students will be grouped into interdisciplinary team or students can register in pairs or in groups; however if you choose to do this please ensure that AT LEAST 2 faculties are represented!

LFS|US will be holding information sessions for F9B on Friday from 11-1 p.m. in the Agora space in MacMillan basement as well as both next Wednesday the 30th of September and next Thursday the 1st of October during the Involvement Fair between 3:30 and 5:30 pm.
