Nov 23: FoodSafe Level 1 Workshop (Updated)

Update (as of 14/Nov/2013): Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals (CAFP) at UBC will
be holding a: FoodSafe Level 1 Workshop:When: Saturday, Nov 23, 2013, 9am to 5pm
Where: Neville Scarfe Building, Room 209
Cost: $65 for CAFP members, $70 for non members
*Reminder: FoodSafe certification is required for the food-service
industry or the dietetics profession.
FoodSafe Level 2 Workshop:

UPDATE: The refresher course will now be integrated into the session,
so that no additional online refresher course is needed. Please note,
you must still take FoodSafe Level 1 before taking FoodSafe Level 2.
When: Saturday, Jan 25, 2013 9am to 4pm and Monday, Jan 27, 2013
6:30pm to 10:30pmWhere: TBDCost: $90 for CAFP members, $95 for non
members
*Note: FoodSafe Level 2 is required for students entering 4th year
dietetics.

Registration: Reserve your spot ASAP by emailing Michelle. Payment and
reservation deadline: Saturday, Nov 16th. Payment can be made by cash or
cheque (to: UBC Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals). Pay
for your registration fee at the FNH 230 office (2nd floor, Food,
Nutrition and Health building) in an envelope labelled with your full
name, membership status (member or non-member), email address.
Indicate if this payment is for FoodSafe Level 1, Level 2, or both. If
paying by cheque, please indicate your name on the memo. Space is
limited; it is on first-come, first-serve basis.

Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until you pay the
fee. Otherwise, it will be given to the next person on the waiting
list.

FoodSafe Level 2 Workshop:

UBC CAFP will also be holding a FoodSafe Level 2 workshop in January (exact date TBA). To qualify for FoodSafe 2, one must have taken FoodSafe 1 within 3 months. We suggest those planning to take FoodSafe 1 with us should sign up for our FoodSafe 2 as well. If you have received your FoodSafe 1 more than 3 months ago, a refresher course must be taken online ($25). We will be accepting payment now if you would like to secure your spot. The cost of FoodSafe 2 will be $90 for CAFP members and $95 for non-members. More details will be released closer to the date.
