Unlike so many people who are born from the fusion of culturally diverse backgrounds and who identify with varying countries as home, I was born into a culturally homogeneous family – a purely Nigerian home, being that both parents were born and raised in Nigeria. I guess you could say there’s a little diversity, considering I was born in Oman, but the only place I consider as home (at least for now) is Lagos, Nigeria. My name is Timmy (short for Rotimi) and my greatest passion is writing – it is the medium which I use so very often to amplify my voice and make my opinions heard!
